A new player in the US market

Ipsogen, a French biotech company, develops and markets molecular diagnostic tests for blood cancer and related diseases. They were interested in gaining a foothold in the US, and needed a US centric approach to their marketing. Since Ipsogen holds the only patent on an assay that is recommended by the World Health Organization, they had a unique opportunity as a new player.

After a thorough assessment of potential competitors, we developed a brand identity that clearly differentiated Ipsogen from other companies in the field which tend to be “clinical” and “scientific”. The Ipsogen brand image communicates the company is involved in blood disorders, but also conveys a warm, approachable and human quality. Ipsogen has subsequently been acquired by Qiagen.
